Kurrier Mail

Host email on your own domain, create addresses, and manage workspace access with Kurrier Mail.

Kurrier Mail Solo plan is only available on www.kurriermail.com. It is not available on self-hosted Kurrier instances or on www.kurrier.io

Kurrier Mail lets you send and receive email on your own domain directly inside your Kurrier workspace. Create addresses such as hello@example.com, support@example.com, or yourname@example.com, then use them alongside your connected email accounts.

Kurrier manages the email hosting. You manage your domain's DNS records, email addresses, and who can access them.

Kurrier Mail is a hosted service It is separate from connecting your existing provider through SMTP/IMAP, Gmail, or another supported integration. You do not need your own AWS account or SMTP credentials to use Kurrier Mail.

Before you start

You need:

  • An active plan that includes Kurrier Mail.
  • A domain you own.
  • Access to the domain's DNS settings.
  • Workspace owner access to create and remove hosted domains and addresses.

Solo is available on KurrierMail. Starter and Teams also include hosting. The Free plan lets you connect existing email accounts but does not include hosted domains or addresses.

Plans and limits

Prices are in USD, per workspace per month.

PlanMonthly priceIncluded usersHosted domainsHosted addressesIncluded workspace storageRecipients per dayRecipients per minute
Free$01NoneNone2 GB——
Solo$211Unlimited2 GB10010
Starter$1235Unlimited10 GB50020
Teams$291015Unlimited50 GB2,00050

Hosted addresses share the workspace's storage and sending allowance. Creating another address does not add storage, users, or a separate sending allowance.

Unlimited addresses means there is no fixed address-count limit on paid plans. Domain, storage, and sending limits still apply.

Solo is a single-user plan. Upgrade to Starter or Teams to collaborate with other members.

1. Add your domain

  1. Switch to the workspace where you want to host email.
  2. Open Settings → Kurrier Mail.
  3. Open the Domains tab.
  4. Add your domain, for example example.com.
  5. Wait for Kurrier to prepare the domain's configuration.

A domain must be verified before you can create email addresses on it.

2. Configure DNS

Open the domain at your DNS provider and add the records shown by Kurrier.

Copy each record's type, name, value, and priority, where provided. Use the values displayed for your domain rather than values from another workspace or a generic example.

The configuration can include:

RecordPurpose
MXRoutes incoming email to Kurrier Mail.
CNAMESupports domain authentication, such as DKIM.
TXTSupports the verification and email authentication checks shown in your domain configuration.

Keep the required records in place after verification.

Changing MX records changes where new email for your domain is delivered. If the domain already receives email through another provider, plan the switch before replacing its existing mail routing. Changing DNS does not migrate old messages.

DNS provider tips

  • Some providers automatically append your domain to record names. Check that the saved name does not contain the domain twice.
  • Where your provider offers a proxy option, email-related CNAME records should use DNS only.
  • Follow the priorities shown for MX records.
  • DNS changes may take time to become visible. Recheck the saved records before changing values repeatedly.

3. Verify the domain

Return to Kurrier Mail → Domains and run the domain's verification check.

If checks are still pending, compare the records in Kurrier with the records saved at your DNS provider. Once the domain is Verified, it becomes available when creating an address.

If setup fails, review the error displayed for the domain and retry after correcting the configuration.

4. Create an email address

  1. Open the Email addresses tab.
  2. Enter the Email name, such as support.
  3. Select a verified Domain.
  4. Enter a Display name, such as Example Support.
  5. Click Add email address.

For example:

FieldExample
Email namesupport
Domainexample.com
Display nameExample Support
Resulting addresssupport@example.com

The display name is the name recipients see on your emails.

Address status

StatusMeaning
PendingThe address is waiting for setup.
Setting upKurrier is provisioning the address.
Receiving ReadyInbound setup is complete and the address is ready to receive mail.
Setup failedSetup did not complete. Review the error and use Retry setup.

Wait for Receiving Ready, then send a message to the address from an external email account.

5. Open your mailbox and send a test

  1. Open Mail in the same workspace.
  2. Find the new address in the sidebar.
  3. Open its Inbox to view received messages.
  4. Click Compose and select the hosted address as the sender.
  5. Send a test message to an external account and reply to it.

Test both directions before relying on the address for important correspondence.

Hosted addresses can appear alongside accounts connected through your own providers. Check the selected sender when composing.

Share an address or assign it to members

New hosted addresses are initially shared with everyone in the workspace. Owners and admins can use Manage access beside an address to change who can use it.

Share with everyone

  1. Open Kurrier Mail → Email addresses.
  2. Click the Manage access button beside the address.
  3. Select Everyone in this workspace.
  4. Click Save.

This is useful for a shared address such as support@example.com.

Assign to selected members

  1. Invite the person to the workspace and have them accept the invitation.
  2. Open Manage access beside the email address.
  3. Select Selected workspace members.
  4. Choose the members who should have access.
  5. Click Save.

Select at least one member. To keep your own mailbox access, include yourself in the selection.

Members should switch to the workspace containing the address, then refresh their mail page. The address appears within that workspace; it is not copied into their personal workspace.

The workspace's default identity must remain available to everyone. Choose another default identity before restricting access to that address.

The access button is shown to users with management permission when identity access management is enabled and the workspace has at least two members.

Remove a member's access

Open Manage access, remove the member from the selected list, and save. At least one selected member must remain.

To restrict an address currently shared with everyone, first change it to Selected workspace members and choose who should retain access.

Changing access does not delete the address or its messages.

Sending allowances

Sending allowances apply to recipient attempts across the whole workspace, including recipients in To, Cc, and Bcc.

For example, one message addressed to two people in To and one person in Cc counts as three recipient attempts.

  • All Kurrier Mail addresses in the workspace use the same allowance.
  • Both the daily and per-minute limits apply.
  • Daily allowances reset at midnight UTC.
  • Addresses connected through your own providers use those providers' sending limits.

If a sending limit is reached, wait for the applicable allowance to become available before trying again.

Storage

Hosted email uses your workspace storage allowance alongside the other data counted by Kurrier, including connected email and Drive files.

Each address does not receive a separate storage allocation. For example, Solo includes 2 GB for the workspace, shared across its addresses.

Check usage in your workspace's billing and storage settings. Remove unneeded data, upgrade your plan, or enable additional storage where available if you need more space.

Delivery reports

Use the hosted mail delivery reports to investigate sending results and reported delivery issues. Check the reported status and any available error details when a message does not reach its recipient.

Receiving Ready describes address setup. It does not guarantee that every outgoing message will arrive in the recipient's inbox.

Remove an address or domain

Remove an address

Open Kurrier Mail → Email addresses, choose Remove address, and follow the confirmation shown.

Do not remove an address while it is being provisioned. Save or export any messages you need before removing it.

Remove a domain

Remove the hosted addresses associated with the domain first, then remove the domain from the Domains tab.

If you are moving to another provider, configure that provider's mail routing so new messages reach the intended destination. Review DNS records left behind by the old configuration.

Change plans

Plan changes apply to the workspace.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately and can create prorated adjustments.
  • Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current billing period.
  • The current plan's allowances remain in place until the scheduled change starts.
  • The billing page shows the current plan and any scheduled destination and date.

Before scheduling a downgrade, reduce members, hosted domains, and storage to fit the target plan, where required. Remove additional-user add-ons before moving to Solo or Free.

To downgrade to Free, remove hosted addresses and domains and disable usage-based storage first. Free does not include Kurrier Mail hosting.

Troubleshooting

My address is missing from Mail

Check that:

  1. You selected the workspace containing the address.
  2. Setup reached Receiving Ready.
  3. The address is shared with the workspace or assigned to your user.
  4. You refreshed the page after the access change.

The domain will not verify

Compare each required DNS record with the saved record at your DNS provider. Check the name, value, record type, MX priority, and any proxy setting. Allow time for DNS changes to become visible, then retry verification.

Setup failed for an address

Read the error displayed beside the address. Confirm its domain is verified, then use Retry setup.

Incoming email is not arriving

Check the domain's verification state, MX configuration, exact recipient address, and address setup status. If you recently changed MX records, check whether messages are still reaching your previous provider.

I cannot send

Check the selected sender, your access to the address, the workspace's plan status, and its sending allowance. Review any error or delivery report associated with the attempt.

Can I use the hosted address in Outlook, Apple Mail, or Thunderbird?

Kurrier Mail currently provides access through the Kurrier web application. External SMTP submission and IMAP access for hosted addresses are not available yet.

Connecting an existing SMTP/IMAP account to Kurrier is a separate feature and does not create SMTP/IMAP credentials for a Kurrier-hosted address.
